The junior had the best tournament of her collegiate career at the Stanford Invitational.
ROSEMONT, Ill. — Junior Elise Lee of the No. 2 USC Women's Golf Team was named the Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week on Thursday.
This is the second Big Ten Women's Golfer of the Week award of Lee's career and the first time this season a Trojan has won a weekly conference award.
At the Stanford Invitational earlier this week, Lee led the Trojans by tying for third with a 204 (-9). Her 204 shattered her previous collegiate best tournament score by four strokes. She was the only Trojan to string together three rounds in the 60s. Her performance helped the Trojans place third in a competitive field.
Lee and the Trojans will wrap up the fall season at the East Lake Cup, which runs from Oct. 26-28. The tournament will be televised on the Golf Channel. All pertinent information can be found on the women's golf team's schedule page on usctrojans.com.
