No. 22 USC Men's Tennis Headed East for Opening Weekend of Big Ten Play

Trojans to face Purdue and Indiana this weekend.
The Trojans enter the weekend with an 8-3 overall record following a dramatic 4-3 victory over crosstown rival UCLA in their most recent outing. USC rallied to secure the win, continuing the team's strong start to the spring season.USC's midyear additions Max Exsted, Branko Djuric and Andrin Casanova have been crucial to the Trojans success as of late. USC does not currently feature any ranked singles or doubles players, but has relied on balanced contributions throughout the lineup.
USC will first meet Purdue (4-5) on Friday, March 6. The Boilermakers are coming off a 4-0 sweep of Illinois State and currently feature one ranked doubles pair in No. 64 Aleksa Krivokapic and Maj Premzl.Â
The Trojans will then take on No. 46 Indiana (6-3), which is scheduled to play UCLA on Friday before facing USC on Sunday. Indiana is fresh off a 4-0 victory over Texas Tech and boasts two ranked doubles teams: No. 33 Jip Van Assendelft and Sam Landau and No. 57 Matteo Antonescu and Michael Andre. .With two conference opponents on the schedule, USC will look to continue its momentum and strengthen its position in the Big Ten standings as the spring season progresses.
First serve against Indiana is scheduled for 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET, while the Trojans will play Purdue on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.Â
