Hollis Mulry scored a career-high four goals to lead the Trojans to a 15-10 victory on the road
EUGENE, Ore. – The USC lacrosse team (8-9, 1-7 Big Ten) got first-career hat tricks from Anna Regan and Haley Newton and a career-high four goals from Hollis Mulry to net a 15-10 win on the road over Oregon (6-10, 0-8) on the Ducks' Senior Day at Papé Field on Saturday, April 18.

The win gives the Women of Troy their first conference win of the season and prevented the Ducks from winning their first-ever game in the Big Ten. It is USC's 11th straight win over Oregon and makes the Trojans 16-3 all-time against the Ducks.

- Redshirt Jr. midfielder Hollis Mulry recorded a career-high four goals on five shots, picked up two ground balls, and caused a turnover. It was her second hat trick game of the season and the second of her career.
- Jr. attacker Emma Bunting totaled five points with four assists and a goal to go with a ground ball and a caused turnover.
- Jr. midfielder Anna Regan racked her first-career hat trick and had a career-high five points (3g, 2a) and led the Trojans with six draw controls to finish the season with 321-career draw wins.
- Sr. attacker Haley Newton registered her first-career hat trick with a career-high three goals; one from free position.
- Jr. midfielder Alex May scored a pair of goals, grabbed two ground balls, and caused a turnover.
- Jr. attacker Reese Robinson finished with two points (1g, 1a) and secured two draw controls.
- Sr. defender Kate Gerrity scored her second-career goal.
- Redshirt Jr. midfielder Hannah Barron nabbed six draw controls and recorded an assist and a ground ball.
- So. defender Sophia DeJarnette had a career-high five draw controls with two ground balls and a caused turnover.
- For the Ducks, Lily Fortin had four points (2g, 2a) and Lyla Hurley had four points (3g, 1a) with a hat trick. Anna Simmons had three points (2g, 1a) and caused three turnovers to go with four draw controls. In goal, Kate Shields gave up 15 goals but produced 12 saves in the effort.
- USC outshot Oregon, 36-24, which included a big 10-3 edge in the third quarter when the Trojans pulled away with a 4-1 frame. The Ducks got to more ground balls by just one, 13-12, but the Women of Troy dominated the center circle with a big 22-5 advantage in draw controls. Both teams totaled 11 turnovers a piece.
- Simmons scored the first goal of the game to put Oregon on the board, but Regan answered almost immediately to get a goal from free position. The Ducks went in front again, but Mulry scored back-to-back goals before Bunting took a feed from Regan to score a third straight USC goal to make it 4-2 for the Trojans after the opening frame.
- The USC run ballooned to a 6-0 burst when May, Regan, and Newton scored goals in the first five minutes of the second quarter to make it 7-2, but Oregon fought back and got the next three goals to stay within striking distance. May—from free position with under two minutes to play—scored one more to make it 8-5 for the Trojans at the half.
- Like they did in the second quarter, the Trojans scored the first three of the third—with goals from Mulry, Robinson, and Regan—to claim an 11-5 lead. Fortin scored one to stem the tide, but Mulry had the last goal of the third quarter to send the teams to the fourth with a 12-6 USC lead on the board.
- Newton took a pass from Barron to score the first goal of the fourth and then Gerrity scored from free position (5:20) before Newton did it again off a feed from Bunting to push USC ahead, 15-7. With under two minutes to play, the Ducks won several late draws and scored three goals in 46 seconds to draw within five, 15-10, but the Women of Troy held off the late Duck charge to close out the five-goal win.Â
- USC improved to 16-3 all-time against Oregon and has won 11 straight meetings with the Ducks.
- The Trojans won their first Big Ten game of the season and moved to 4-12 in conference games over the last two seasons.
- The Women of Troy improved to 11-1 in the state of Oregon and won their eighth game in a row in the Beaver State.
- USC finished an even 4-4 in road games this season.
