The Women of Troy are going into the conference championships as the fourth seed.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – No. 5 USC Beach Volleyball (26-9) heads into the MPSF Championships as the fourth seed, taking on fifth-seeded California in the first round. These two teams have faced each other twice this season, with USC winning both times.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
This is the second year USC will play in the MPSF Championship. The Women of Troy went 3-2 in the tournament last year, falling in the championship dual to Stanford. Overall, USC is 31-10 all-time in conference tournaments and has five Pac-12 titles.

AVCA PLAYER OF THE YEAR SEMIFINALIST
Kennedy Coakley has been an instrumental player for USC, who has not dropped below No. 5 in the AVCA Coaches' Poll. As of April 16, Coakley was one of eight players named an AVCA Player of the Year Semifinalist. She boasts a record of 25-10 this season, going 13-9 in the first flight and 12-1 in the second flight.

The Women of Troy have a 26-9 record throughout the season. Of the 35 duals they have played in, only six of their opponents weren't ranked in the AVCA Coaches' Poll.

Madison Goellner and Kaileigh Truslow have been dominant since coming into the lineup in the last seven games. They are 6-1 in that time, only dropping a match at Loyola Marymount.
