No. 5 USC Beach Volleyball Begins Postseason Play At MPSF Championship

The Women of Troy are going into the conference championships as the fourth seed.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – No. 5 USC Beach Volleyball (26-9) heads into the MPSF Championships as the fourth seed, taking on fifth-seeded California in the first round. These two teams have faced each other twice this season, with USC winning both times.

CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
This is the second year USC will play in the MPSF Championship. The Women of Troy went 3-2 in the tournament last year, falling in the championship dual to Stanford. Overall, USC is 31-10 all-time in conference tournaments and has five Pac-12 titles.
AVCA PLAYER OF THE YEAR SEMIFINALIST
Kennedy Coakley has been an instrumental player for USC, who has not dropped below No. 5 in the AVCA Coaches' Poll.
