USC Women's Volleyball Adds Transfer Setter Lilli Etter

Etter joins the Women of Troy following two seasons as a starting setter at Boise State
LOS ANGELES – The USC women's volleyball team has added transfer setter Lilli Etter (Spokane, Wash./Gonzaga Preparatory) from Boise State, head coach Brad Keller announced on Friday, May 29.

"We're excited to welcome Lilli to USC," said Keller. "She is a fantastic setter, a determined and competitive athlete, and operates with incredible poise on the court. Lilli brings two years of valuable experience at the position and will make an immediate impact with our team this fall."

Etter played in 60 matches at Boise State (2024-25) with 225 sets of action under her belt. She totaled 1,205 assists (5.36 aps) as a starter in the Broncos' 6-2 offense. Etter produced 32 matches with 20-plus assists and recorded 19 double-doubles with 22 contests in double-digit digs. She collected 513 digs (2.28 dps), 62 kills, 40 service aces, and 20 blocks during her time at BSU and was a two-time Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and a CSC Academic All-District Team choice as a sophomore. Etter prepped at Gonzaga Preparatory in Spokane, Wash., under former USC setter Nikki Leonard and was a four-time All-Greater Spokane League selection and 2023 All-State. She also earned AVCA Girls' High School All-America honorable mention as a senior.

Last fall, USC finished the regular season tied for third in the Big Ten. The Trojans were 25-7 overall with a 15-5 record in the Big Ten and were awarded one of 33 at-large berths—and a hosting bid—into the 2025 NCAA tournament. USC made its fourth straight appearance in the tourney under head coach Brad Keller (41st all-time) and moved into the second round for the fourth consecutive year with a 3-0 sweep of Princeton. The Women of Troy were eliminated from postseason play in a hard-fought five-set loss to Cal Poly in the second round.
