USC Women's Golf Welcomes Sophia Lin

LOS ANGELES – USC Women's Golf announced Sophia Lin as the newest addition to the fall roster today.
Lin hails from Taipei, Taiwan where she earned top finishes nationally as a team and individual throughout her high school career, including a national team title. Competing as an individual for Taipei Municipal Heping High School, she achieved runner-up at the Chinese Taipei Senior High Championship in 2025. Most recently, she tied for second at the CTBC TECH Certified Junior Golf Tour in February, and she placed in the top-10 at three events over the summer, including fifth at the SCGA Women's Amateur Championship.
Lin has competed as a member of the Chinese Taipei National Team since 2024, with her best finishes coming first as a team and sixth individually at the National Games. Lin will join the Women of Troy in the fall with the first competition slated for September.
