USC Men’s Tennis Set For Busy Week To Open Fall Season

LOS ANGELES – The USC men's tennis team is set to open its fall campaign this weekend at two tournaments. The Trojans will send representatives to both the ITA All-American Championships and the Sherwood Collegiate Cup.
ITA All-American Championships
Max Exsted and Nathan Trouve will begin competition at the ITA All-American Championships on Wednesday, Sept. 23 in the main draw.
The ITA All-American Championships serve as the first opportunity to qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships. Ten singles players will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championships (eight main draw quarterfinalists and two feed-in consolation finalists). Five doubles team will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship (four main draw semifinalists and the consolation champion).
Sherwood Collegiate Cup
Four Trojans will represent USC at the Sherwood Collegiate Cup – Connor Church, Niels Hoffmann, Sklar Phillips and Pablo Robledo Hoyos. The tournament will run from Sept. 25-27 in Thousand Oaks, Calif..
Including USC, 13 Division I schools will be represented at the three-day tournament, which will be held at Sherwood Country Club.
