THIS SEASON: Sawyer Rhodes enters his second season at USC.
2018: Rhodes earned All-America Honorable Mention in his first season at USC... Scored 25 goals... First career goal as a Trojan was in his USC debut against Pacific on Sept. 22... Scored in 16 games with seven multiple-goal outings... Set career high with a hat trick vs. Redlands on Sept. 29.
AT STANFORD: Rhodes scored 23 goals as a true freshman at Stanford... Set a career high with two hat tricks, last vs. Cal on Nov. 9, picking up MPSF Newcomer of the Week honors after that outing... Had five multiple-goal games.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Rhodes was a member of the U.S. Youth National Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Rhodes played water polo and swam at Santa Barbara High, where he became the school’s all-time leading scorer with 370 goals... Also set school records in steals and exclusions drawn... A two-time Channel League MVP… Boasted back-to-back 10-goal games in his senior season… Also swam for Santa Barbara High, picking up honors as a two-time ALl-CIF and all-league honoree... Played club for Santa Barbara Premier WPC.
PERSONAL: Rhodes is majoring in real estate development… Parents are Adam and Kara… Mother was a member of UCLA women’s volleyball’s 1984 national championship team... Enjoys surfing, spending time with friends and traveling in his free time… Hopes to be able to spend a lot of time traveling after graduation… Born July 24, 1999.
