HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years of varsity baseball at St. Michael's Prep for Rev. Alan Benander...Was a pitcher and played shortstop in HS...First-Team All-Express League all four years...Earned All-CIF honors as a junior in 2015 and a senior in 2016...Named Express League Player of the Year in 2016 as a senior...In his junior year of HS, struck out 19 batters and 18 batters in different games...Played for the So Cal Giants Scout Team during 2015 and 2016...An excellent student, was a member of the National Honors Society for two years in HS...For all four years earned honors on the National Latin Examination.
PERSONAL: Son of Michael and Kelly...A human biology major at USC, he hopes to become a medical doctor upon graduation...Grandfather Dennis Kreil attended USC...Chose USC "because of it's academic prowess and winning tradition"...Uncle Tyler Kreil played collegiate baseball at UC Riverside...Lists his best sports moment "leading my high school team to the third round of the CIF playoffs"...Enjoys spending time with friends and family.
