2019-20: Holt finished his USC career ranked No. 18 in the nation in singles and No. 54 in doubles with partner Mor Bulis when competition was cancelled in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic... Stymied by injuries in his senior season, Holt held a 9-3 overall singles record with a two-match win streak... Was 4-3 in dual-match play, all at the No. 1 position... Had the match-clinching wins vs. Stanford and Air Force... In doubles, Holt had gone 12-3 overall in with an 3-3 mark in dual matches... Went 3-2 with Bulis... 2018-19: Holt finished his junior season ranked No. 9 in the nation in singles and No. 14 in doubles with partner Riley Smith... Made his third career appearances in the NCAA Singles and Doubles draws... Carried a career-best 13-match singles win streak into the NCAA Quarterfinals, becoming the first Trojan to reach that round since Stevie Johnson in 2012... Reached highest career singles (No. 4) and doubles (No. 2) rankings on Sept. 11, 2018... Earned ITA All-America honors in singles... Named Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year and to the All-Pac-12 First Team... Went 22-6 overall in singles, with a 16-3 mark in dual matches — all at the No. 1 position... Clinched USC’s 4-3 win over then-No. 4 Florida... In doubles, went 18-9 overall, pairing with Riley Smith for 15-7 overall mark and a 12-5 record in dual matches at the No. 1 position... Held highest singles ranking at No. 13 on Feb. 8, 2017 and highest doubles rank at No. 10 with Smith on April 18... Had the clinching singles win in two dual matches, including the Pac-12 Tournament Championship clincher vs. UCLA... An ITA All-American in singles, was named the ITA Southwest Regional Rookie of the Year and Player to Watch... Also was the Pac-12 Newcomer of the Year and an All-Pac-12 First Team selection... Named Pac-12 Player of the Week on Feb. 27... Led team in singles wins, going 35-9 overall, with an 18-5 mark in dual matches... Played primarily at the No. 1 position (14-5)... Also won Southern California Sectionals in singles and doubles in 18s... Paired with fellow incoming USC freshman Riley Smith to win the Laguna Niguel Futures 10K doubles title... Named 2015 Daily Breeze Player of the Year... Reached Junior U.S. Open doubles final... Won singles and doubles titles at the Pan American ITF Juniors... Won Grade 1 doubles championship in Italy... PERSONAL: Brandon Holt was born April 6, 1998 in Torrance, Calif... Parents are Tracy and Scott... Has two brothers, Dylan and Sean... Dylan also attended USC... Mother Tracy (Austin) Holt is a former pro tennis player who was ranked No. 1 in the world and a two-time U.S. Open Champion... Aunt Pam Austin and uncles John and Jeff Austin also played professional tennis... Has always wanted to fly a plane... Hopes to travel to Whitefish, Montana, and to Alaska... Lists Bruce Lee as his biggest sports hero... Hopes to play professional tennis after graduation... Majoring in business.
