Jeff Tarango enters his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the USC men[apos]s tennis program. He was a three-time All-American at Stanford, where he helped lead the Cardinal to two NCAA team titles.
Tarango turned professional in 1989 and won two ATP Singles Titles and 14 ATP Doubles Titles. His career-high ATP rankings were No. 42 in singles and No. 10 in doubles, as he spent 13 years in the Top 100 in singles.
A 2000 Olympian, Tarango also was a member of the USA[apos]s Davis Cup teams in 1991, 1992 and 1997. In 1999, he partnered with Goran Ivanisevic at the French Open and reached the Men[apos]s Doubles Final that year.
In addition to coaching, Tarango currently works with Legendary Sports Group and has spent time as an analyst for BBC, DirecTV and ESPN.
