THIS SEASON: Wyatt Barker enters his second and final season at USC.
2020: In a season shortened and delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Barker joined the USC roster as a grad transfer from Pacific... Was fourth on the team with 17 goals in his first season as a Trojan... Earned All-MPSF Honorable Mention... Scored in 12 games with three multiple-goal outings... Set career high with four goals scored vs. UCLA at the Stanford Round Robin... Scored three goals at the MPSF Tournament and three at the NCAA Tournament, including a pair in the NCAA Semifinals... Also picked up ACWPC All-Academic honors.
2019 AT PACIFIC: Barker scored six goals on 10 shots with three assists in 23 games as a junior at Pacific... Drew two exclusions and tallied 12 steals... Had a season-high two goals vs. San Jose State... Selected to GCC All-Academic Team and earned ACWPC All-Academic honors.
2018 AT PACIFIC: Barker scored four goals as a sophomore at Pacific... Participated in 23 out of 24 matches... Scored a season-high two goals against St. Francis N.Y... Selected to GCC All-Academic Team and earned ACWPC All-Academic honors.
2017 AT PACIFIC: Barker played in 25 matches as a true freshman at Pacific, helping the Tigers win the GCC championship and reach the 2017 NCAA semifinals... Led all freshman on the team with 10 goals and two assists... Scored in seven games including a career-high three goals against Brown... Drew 12 exclusions and had four steals... Earned ACWPC All-Academic honors.
HIGH SCHOOL: Barker captained his Redwood High team to a 22-7 record as a senior... Led Redwood to back-to-back North Coast Section playoff appearances... A two-time all-league honoree, was a first-team all-league pick as a senior... Played football as a lineman as a freshman and sophomore... Played club water polo for Sleepy Hollow Aquatics
PERSONAL: Barker completed his undergraduate degree in business administration at Pacific and is now pursuing a master’s in finance at USC... Hopes to have a career in investment banking... Parents are Leslie and Jim... Has one sister, Nicole... His father, Jim, played minor league hockey... Cousin Tyler Thurlow also attended USC, and cousin Cody Romness was on the USC football team... Cousin John Estes played football at Hawai’i and in the NFL; cousin Patrick Estes played football at Nevada-Reno; cousin Christopher Estes played golf at Hawai’i... Enjoys working out, swimming, reading, gardening and playing poker and chess in his free time.. Lists Jackie Robinson as his biggest sports hero... Would like to travel to Croatia, London, Barcelona, Monaco, Nice and Istanbul... Is involved with Trojan Investing Society and is a member of the Marshall Master’s in Finance Association...
