THIS SEASON: Dylan Marin is a 2018 senior transfer, looking to make an impact for the Trojans in his one year of eligibility with the team.
ALABAMA: Marin competed for Alabama from 2014-16, reaching the NCAA Championships as a 2106 junior and scoring at the SEC Championships in 2015-16 … As a junior for the Crimson Tide, Marin nabbed a berth into the NCAA Championships on platform, finishing 40th (273.70). He earned the spot with a seventh (673.75) on platform at the NCAA Zone B meet. He was a two-time finalist at the 2016 SECs, taking seventh on platform (342.40) and eighth on 1-meter (295.60) … He reached the NCAA Zone B as a 2015 sophomore and competed on all three boards at the 2015 SECs, taking 11th on 3-meter (319.90), 18th on 1-meter (286.30) and 20th on platform (276.35) … He earned SEC Honor Roll honors as a freshman and sophomore and 2015 CSCAA Scholar All-American honorable mention notice.
HIGH SCHOOL: He prepped at Pittsford Mendon High School and was third at the 2013 New York State Championships. He was a prep All-American and a two-time sectional champion.
PERSONAL: Marin was born on Oct. 10, 1995 … He is majoring in Human Biology.
