ROBERT FARAH - Colombia (2-time Olympian | 2008 NCAA Doubles Champion | 2009 & 2010 NCAA Team Champion)
Colombian native Robert Farah has secured his second trip to the Olympic Games with his qualification in doubles alongside partner Juan Sebastian Cabal. The pair reached the Second Round in the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. At USC, Farah won two NCAA Team Championships as a Trojan and also won the 2008 NCAA Doubles Championship. He finished his USC career ranked as the No. 1 singles player in the nation and the No. 2 doubles duo in the land in the final 2010 ITA rankings. A two-time Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year, he also was named to the Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year three times as a Trojan. In his pro career, Farah has paired to great success with countryman Cabal. The duo has won 18 titles together, including back-to-back Grand Slam victories in 2019 at Wimbledon and the US Open. He currently ranks No. 4 in the world in doubles.
2009-10: Farah finished the season as the nation's No. 1 singles player and No. 2 in doubles with partner Steve Johnson... An ITA All-American in singles and doubles... Named ITA Player of the Year and an ITA All-Star, he also earned the ITA Regional Rafael Osuna Sportsmanship Award... Named Pac-12 Singles Player of the Year for the second straight year and earned his third straight selection to the Pac-12 Doubles Team of the Year... Won the Pac-12 Singles Championship with a win over Stanford's Bradley Klahn in the final... Also claimed the Pac-12 Doubles Championship with Johnson, beating UCLA's Inbar/Meister in the title match... Reached the NCAA Singles Quarterfinals and the NCAA Doubles Round of 16 with Johnson... 2008-09: Farah ended 2009 ranked No. 5 in the nation in singles and No. 10 in doubles with Steve Johnson... His comeback win over Ohio State's #3 Brian Koniecko at the No. 1 singles position clinched the 2009 NCAA Team Championship for USC... Also clinched the NCAA Round of 16 win over Stanford... Named an ITA All-American in singles and doubles... Selected both 2009 Pac-10 Player of the Year and Pac-10 Doubles Team of the Year with Johnson, as well as to Pac-10 First Team... Compiled a 31-7 overall record in singles with a 17-3 mark in dual match play at the No. 1 position... The No. 8 seed in NCAA Singles, lost in the First Round... Reached the NCAA Singles Round of 16... Finished doubles play on a 26-match winning streak with Kaes Van't Hof, winning the 2008 Pac-10 Doubles Championship and the 2008 NCAA Doubles Championship... Went 39-3 overall with Van't Hof, including a perfect 17-0 run at the No. 1 position in dual matches... Finished the year ranked No. 9 in singles and No. 1 in doubles with Van't Hof...
