Claire Kieffer-Wright is in her first season (2022-23) as the Director of Operations for the USC beach volleyball program.
Kieffer-Wright joins the Trojans’ staff as its first dedicated director and most recently worked as a volleyball profile evaluator for Next College Student Athlete. She has also held positions as a special operations agent for VOLT and in administrative work at Kennedy Care.
As a collegiate athlete, Kieffer-Wright played middle blocker for Michigan’s indoor volleyball team and served as a co-captain during her senior season. She started every match as a senior and earned AVCA and VolleyballMag.com All-America honorable mention. Kieffer-Wright also received AVCA All-North Region and Big Ten honorable mention status.
Internationally, Kieffer-Wright competed with the USAV Collegiate National Team on its 2018 European tour and helped them win the European Global Challenge. She also competed with the Big Ten foreign tour during the summer of 2018.
While at Michigan, Kieffer-Wright assisted with mentoring young athletes during summer volleyball clinics and offered private coaching for high school athletes. She also worked as a student ambassador on football game days and as an administrative assistant at the Michigan tennis center. Kieffer-Wright was also a captain for the Wolverine track & field program as a high jumper and graduated from Michigan with a degree in communications in 2019.
A native of Southern California, Kieffer-Wright resides in her hometown of South Pasadena.
