2005-2006: Desmond redshirted as a sophomore in 2006.
SUMMER OF 2005: Desmond competed in six events after the 2005 NCAA regular season, highlighted by a victory at the Midwest Collegiate Series at Meadows C.C. ... She also barely missed out on qualifying for the U.S. Women[apos]s Amateur (losing in a playoff) and was 11th at the Illinois Women[apos]s Open.
2004-2005: Desmond, as a 2004-2005 freshman, played in five tournaments and had a stroke average of 79.87 ... Her season was highlighted by a tie for 19th at the Anteater Invitational (236). She earned 2005 Academic All-American honors.
