Carley Horan, a member of the inaugural USC lacrosse team, is in her first season (2021) as an assistant coach for the Women of Troy.
Horan (2013-16) was a four-year letterwinner and appeared in 25 games for the Trojans. She helped USC win back-to-back Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) championships in 2015 and 2016. Horan and the Women of Troy became the first-ever team from the West to advance to an NCAA quarterfinal when USC faced Syracuse in 2016.
Horan previously served as an assistant coach for the Morristown High School (Morristown, N.J.) girls’ varsity team and as head coach of the STEPS Elite Lacrosse Club (Randolph, N.J.) intermittently from 2012-19.
Horan is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). She has experience in nutrition sales and marketing and has served as a corporate wellness coach. Horan also holds certification as a yoga teacher (RYT200) and served as a yoga and spin trainer in her home state of New Jersey.
Horan earned a Master of Science in nutrition, lifespan, and longevity from the USC Davis School of Gerontology (2018) and received her Bachelor of Science in health promotion and disease prevention (2016) from USC.
