2018-19 SEASON: Downes enters her senior season competing for the Women of Troy.
2017-18 SEASON: Downes primarily rowed with the Second Varisty 8+ as a junior...Earned 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention...Helped the Women of Troy earn an invitation to the NCAA Championships where the team placed 12th overall in the nation...Finished in third place with the Second Varsity 8 in the C Final at NCAAs...Earned 4th place as a team at the Pac-12 Championships...Defeated UCLA to extend USC's undefeated streak to 17-0 all-time...Took third place in the A Final at the Clemson Invitational with the Second Varsity 8...Took third with the Second Varsity 8 in the Women's Collegiate 2V Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.
2016-17 SEASON: Member of USC's 2V8...Named a Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention...Placed fifth in the Women's Collegiate 2V8+ Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic...Defeated UCLA to extend USC's undefeated streak to 16-0 all-time...Placed seventh with the 2V8 at the Pac-12 Championships.
2015-16 SEASON: Member of USC's 2V8 as a freshman...Placed sixth with the 2V8 in the C Final at the NCAA Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL: Downes was a two-year letterwinner on the Mountain Lakes rowing team…Reached the semifinals of the Mid-Atlantic Conference regionals in 2015…Was a member of the National Honor Society.
