2018-19 SEASON: Dorottya Bene enters her redshirt senior season as a member of USC's women's rowing team.
2017-18 SEASON: Bene primarily rowed with the Second Varisty 8+ as a redshirt junior...Helped the Women of Troy earn an invitation to the NCAA Championships where the team placed 12th overall in the nation...Finished in third place with the Second Varsity 8 in the C Final at NCAAs...Earned 4th place as a team at the Pac-12 Championships...Took third place in the A Final at the Clemson Invitational with the Second Varsity 8...Took third with the Second Varsity 8 in the Women's Collegiate 2V Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.
2016-17 SEASON: Bene utilized her redshirt this season.
2015-16 SEASON: Bene was a member of USC's 2V8...Saw action in three races throughout the season.
2014-15 SEASON: Bene primarilly rowed with USC's Varsity 8 as a freshman...Defeated UCLA to extend USC's undefeated streak to 14-0 all-time...Placed fifth with the Varsity 8 at the Pac-12 Championships...Finsihed in fourth place in the C Final at the NCAA Championships.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Bene placed 15th overall as she represented Hungary in the Women's Pair race at the 2018 World Cup II in Linz-Ottensheim, Austria...Competed in Women;s Single Sculls competition at the 2018 Senior World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria...Is a multi-year member of the Hungarian National Team and was part of Hungary's Olympic Development Program for two years..Named Hungary's 2014 Femal Rower of the Year as a U23/Senior...Placed eighth at the U23 World Rowing Championships in 2013 and 2014 in the Lw2x...Claimed sixth at the 2014 U23 European Championships in the Lw1x.
CLUB: A 14-time Hungarian national champion in the Lw1x, Lw2x, 2x, 4, 8+ and 4x as an 11-year member of the Lepel Rowing Club between 2010-15.
