THIS SEASON: Blair Carnes, a 2016 junior, is a solid medley swimmer and breaststroker looking to increase her role and make a bigger scoring dent in dual meets and the postseason.
2015: Carnes, as a 2015 sophomore, competed again in three events at the Pac-12 Championships. She earned her first `B' final swim, taking 13th in the 200y breast (2:013.40). She was also 19th in the 100y breast (1:03.32) and 27th in the 200y IM (2:04.65) ... Earned 2015 Pac-12 All-Academic first team honors with a 3.88 GPA in Human Performance.
2014: Carnes competed in three events as a freshman at the 2014 Pac-12s, finishing 24th in the 200y breast (2:21.60), 31st in the 200y IM (2:05.81) and 32nd in the 100y breast (1:05.60).
HIGH SCHOOL: Carnes, who prepped at The Steward School in Richmond, Va., is a U.S. Junior National team member, who came to USC as the top-ranked breaststroker in Virginia. She swam the 200y breast at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials and was also a two-time breaststroke finalist at the U.S. 2011 Junior Nationals.

PERSONAL: She was born on Dec. 9, 1994 ... She is majoring in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Studies.
