2020-21 SEASON: Constance Branstine was granted a fifth year of eligibility by the NCAA because the coronavirus pandemic cut short the 2020 season.
2019-20 SEASON: The 2020 spring season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. Before the suspension of the season, Branstine went 1-10 in singles and 1-8 in dual matches...Played primarily from the No. 6 position (1-4), but also saw action at No. 4 (0-1) and No. 5 (0-3)...Completed in doubles with three different partners, all from the No. 2 position: Salma Ewing (2-1 overall, 2-1 dual), Ana Neffa (5-2 overall, 2-1 dual) and Payton Saca (1-3 overall, 1-3 dual)...Played in the Milwaukee Classic in the fall.
2018-19 SEASON: Constance Branstine finished her junior season 10-5 in singles and 8-3 in dual matches…Was a team captain of the 2018-19 squad…Played primarily from the No. 6 position (6-2)…Also played at No. 4 (1-0) and No. 5 (1-1)…Clinched two matches for the Women of Troy against Loyola Marymount and Cal…In doubles, went 10-7 with partner Estella Jaeger where they played primarily from the No. 3 position…Also partnered with Salma Ewing (3-2), Ana Neffa (4-0) and Becca Weissmann (3-3)…In the Fall, Branstine competed at the Battle in the Bay, the Women of Troy Invitational and the ITA Southwest Regionals.

UCI: Branstine competed her freshman season as a member of UC Irvine’s women’s tennis team…Selected to the 2017 All-Big West First Team in singles and was an honorable mention in doubles…Played at the No. 1 position in both singles and doubles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Branstine was a member of the 2015 Southern California section team that won the USTA National 18’s National Team championship….Named the 2016 OC Register Girls’ Tennis Player of the Year…Earned All-Orange County First Team honors while competing at Villa Park in 2015 and 2016…Led the Spartans to back-to-back Crestview League team titles…Had a 45-2 record as a senior…Was a five-star blue chip recruit and the No. 24 player in the class of 2016 according to TennisRecruiting.net…Was sixth overall in the Southern California 18’s division.
PERSONAL: Constance Grace Branstine was born on May 5, 1997 in Irvine, Calif….Daughter of Bruce and Carol Branstine…Has two sisters, Cassidy and Carson…Cassidy played college tennis at UC Irvine…Her cousin, Freddie Freeman, plays for the Atlanta Braves...Is a communication major.
