2006: Aksel enters his second season at USC as a two-meter man expected to compete for time. 2005: Aksel scored twice in his freshman season, first against Redlands and then against Brown. NATIONAL TEAMS: Aksel is a member of the 2005 U.S. Junior National Team.. Also played on the Youth National Team and spent two years with the U.S. Cadet Team (2002-2003)... Scored four goals against Greece in 2003. HIGH SCHOOL: Aksel was named 2005 State and Metro League MVP... Received first team all-state honors as a senior and junior from the Oregonian...
