THIS SEASON: Kurzeka enters his senior season at USC as a two-time All-American and a full-fledged offensive threat and defensive lock.
2010: Kurzeka was second on the team in scoring with 41 goals as a junior, matching his career high of four goals during the NCAA Championship win over Cal... Named the NCAA Tournament MVP, was selected a First Team All-American and to the All-MPSF First Team... Also an MPSF Player of the Week after scoring four against Cal and three vs. UCLA at the NorCal Tournament... Scored in 21 games with 13 multiple-goal outings, including those two four-goal games... His 100th career goal was the game-winning score for USC in the 2010 NCAA Championship game
2009: Kurzeka was sixth on the team in scoring with 29 goals as a sophomore... Scored in 19 games with nine multiple-goal efforts... Set a new career high with a pair of hat tricks, vs. Pomona-Pitzer and UC Irvine... Scored two goals in the NCAA Championship game... Earned All-America Honorable Mention... Named an MPSF All-Academic scholar-athlete... Named MPSF Player of the Week on Sept. 9.
2008: Kurzeka was fourth on the team in scoring with 30 goals as a freshman... Scored in 21 games with nine two-goal outings... Named to NCAA All-Tournament Second Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Kurzeka was selected the CIF Division IV MVP in 2007 as a senior at Agoura High, which won the 2007 CIF title and league titles in 2006 and 2007... A two-time selection as Daily News Player of the Year... Named Ventura County Star MVP and a First Team All-American in 2007... Selected to All-CIF First Team in 2006... Also 2006 Ventura County State First Team and All-American Fifth Team pick... Plays club for Los Angeles Water Polo, winning gold at the 2006 Junior Olympics.
NATIONAL TEAMS: A member of the U.S. Youth National Team.
