THIS SEASON: Vaios Vlahotasios enters his third and final season at USC.
2020: In a season shortened and delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, Vlahotasios appeared in five games, averaging 11.2 saves and 5.6 goals-against per game... Recorded double-digit saves in two complete-game outings... Had a season-high 14 saves vs. Pepperdine on Feb. 14... Had 12 saves in the MPSF Quarterfinal and also saw time in the NCAA Quarterfinal.
2019: Vlahotasios appeared in eight games in his junior season... Averaged 9.76 saves and 9.76 goals-against per game... Set new career high with 15 saves vs. UC Irvine on Oct. 5... Recorded three games with double-digit saves... Made three saves in the fourth period of the NCAA Quarterfinal.
2018: Vlahotasios appeared in nine games in his first season at USC... Made 47 saves and allowed 18 goals... Averaged 9.3 saves and 3.6 goals-against per game... Set career high with nine saves in a complete-game effort vs. Whittier on Sept. 16... Had six saves in one half during his first appearance as a Trojan on Sept. 1.
2017 AT GWU: Vlahotasios was named to the All-MAWPC Championship Second Team as a true freshman at George Washington... Split time in goal in helping GWU to its first MAWPC title and NCAA Tournament berth... Posted 125 saves with a .462 save percentage, five assists and 11 steals... Had a career-high 15 saves in a win over Johns Hopkins on Sept. 29... Had double-digit saves in four games... Made 22 saves in three wins at the MAWPC Championship... Recorded 10 saves in the first half of the final win over Wagner on Nov. 19.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Vlahotasios was a member of the Greek Junior National Team for three years.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named best goalie in Greece’s top U-17 league the past two years... A member of the Vouliagmeni Nautical Club team that won the 2016 championship... Helped the club’s senior team to a second-place finish in its league in 2017... Also played internationally with Greece’s U-14 national team in 2014.
PERSONAL: Vlahotasios is majoring in business administration... Parents are Constantina Koutsis and Georgios Vlahotasios... Has one younger brother, Semeon... Born Feb. 5, 1999, in Manhattan, New York.
