2017-18 SEASON: Melissa Pelowski begins her freshman season competing for the Women of Troy.
HIGH SCHOOL: Pelowski prepped at Canyon Crest Academy in San Diego, Calif…Was a three-year letter winner as a defender on the lacrosse team…Earned Second Team All-League honors as a senior while on the lacrosse team…Was a three-time All-Academic Team member.
PERSONAL: Melisssa Eve Pelowski was born on July 8, 1999 in Palo Alto, Calif....Daughter of Brian and Myra Pelowski…Has one sister, Michelle…Majoring in English with aspirations of becoming an author…Lists Billie Jean King as her biggest sports hero…Enjoys watching the movie Meet the Robinsons and the TV shows New Girl and Friends…Plans to move back to San Diego after graduation…Hopes to one day backpack through New Zealand.
