An All-American and four-time NCAA champion as a player at USC, Connor Virjee is in his third season as assistant coach on the USC water polo staff, having come on board in fall 2019. He coached both the men and women from 2019 to spring 2021, and as of fall 2021 serves as assistant coach to the USC men. After graduating from USC with a degree in environmental studies with a business minor in 2014, Virjee worked for the Movember Foundation and as an Ocean Lifeguard for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. He also served as head coach of Westside Aquatics.
As a Trojan, Virjee scored 94 goals, including 49 in his senior season as USC won its sixth consecutive NCAA title in 2013. Virjee was a member of four NCAA championship teams from 2010-2013 at USC, picking up All-America and All-MPSF honorable mention along with a spot on the 2013 NCAA All-Tournament Second Team. He also was a two-time MPSF Scholar-Athlete.
