USC Women's Golf Ranked Third In Final Fall Poll

The USC women's golf team is ranked third in the final fall edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings released this past week.
The Women of Troy, who have tallied one first-place and two second-place finishes this fall, have 298 votes in the poll. The Trojans trail top-ranked Arizona (339 votes) and Duke (321 votes). Arizona State and Georgia round out the top five.
In the final fall individual rankings, USC freshman Candie Kung is sixth (her 72.7 stroke average leads the Women of Troy), while junior Nicole Dalkas is 20th. Arizona's Jenna Daniels has the top spot, followed by Miriam Nagl of Arizona State, Tamie Durdin of Pepperdine, Beth Bauer of Duke and Angela Stanford of TCU.
The MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings are administered by the College Golf Foundation and are voted on by a panel of men's and women's collegiate golf coaches.
USC resumes play on Feb. 7-9 in the SMU-Ohio State-USC "Regional Challenge" at Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.
