LOS ANGELES - Brook Billings had a career-high 29 kills to lead the No. 10-ranked USC men's volleyball team to a 15-10, 15-17, 15-12, 16-14 non-conference victory over No. 15 Loyola of Chicago on Tuesday (March 9) in the USC North Gym.
The Trojans, who snapped a 3-match losing streak, improved to 8-7 overall, while it was the third straight loss for the Ramblers, who fell to 13-7.
Eli Fairfield added 25 kills for USC and Beau Rawi recorded a career-best 21 kills while hitting .552.
For Loyola of Chicago, Dan Schultz had a match-high 30 kills while Pat Moscicki added 26 kills and 8 digs.
Troy outhit the Ramblers .333 to .276. USC overcame a 13-10 deficit in game four to close out the match.
USC's next match is a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation contest at UC Santa Barbara this Thursday (March 11).
