Men's Volleyball Lose to Stanford

PALO ALTO, Calif. - The USC men's volleyball team lost a close one to Stanford, 8-15, 15-6, 12-15 15-10, 15-7, on Saturday in an MPSF match.
The Trojans, at 10-13 overall and 6-10 in league, are still in the running for a MPSF Tournament spot with three road matches to go in the regular season.
Freshman outside hitter Eli Fairfield had 18 kills, freshman outside hitter Craig Dennis had 14 kills and senior middle blocker Szilard Kovacs had 13 kills and 10 blocks.
USC hit .236, while the Cardinal hit .293.
Stanford's Tad Hoffman had a triple-double with 15 kills, 10 digs and 15 blocks.
