LOS ANGELES - Tim Farmer had 20 kills to lead No. 12-ranked Loyola-Marymount to a 15-10, 15-13, 15-5 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation victory over the No. 9-ranked USC men's volleyball team on Saturday (Feb. 13) in the USC North Gym.
USC fell to 6-3 overall and 5-2 in the MPSF, while Loyola-Marymount improved to 2-5 and 1-4.
Eli Fairfield had a match-high 22 kills for Troy while Brook Billings added 17 kills and 5 digs.
For the Lions, Reid Priddy and Corin Bemus notched 13 kills apiece while Jason Lee added 7 digs.
Loyola-Marymount outhit USC .342 to .269 and had 9 service aces to the Trojans' 1.
USC's next match is at home against Long Beach State next Saturday (Feb. 20) at 4 p.m. in the North Gym.
