NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Eli Fairfield had 22 kills, 9 digs and 7 blocks and Brook Billings added 20 kills to lead the No. 10-ranked USC men's volleyball team to a 15-7, 15-6, 8-15, 16-14 victory in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match at Cal State Northridge on Saturday (April 10).
USC, which won all 3 of its road matches during the week, improved to 14-9 overall and 10-7 in the MPSF. Cal State Northridge fell to 2-21 overall and 1-17 in the MPSF.
Fairfield's kills and digs were a match best, while teammate Omar Rawi had a match-high 10 blocks.
For the Matadors, Eckhard Walter had 20 kills and Adam Black added 17 kills and 9 blocks.
USC, which is in the hunt for a berth in the upcoming MPSF tournament, closes out its regular season with a pair of matches at Hawaii this Friday and Saturday (April 16-17).
