
Women's Hoops Falls To No. 14 UCLA, 82-62

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Maylana Martin had 20 points and 10 rebounds and No. 14 UCLA broke away at the start of the second half for an 82-62 victory over Southern California.
UCLA (9-4, 3-0 Pac-10) led 40-35 at halftime and then outscored the Women of Troy 19-2.
Janae Hubbard had 19 points and nine rebounds and Nicole Kaczmarski had 18 points plus four steals.
USC (6-7, 2-1) was led by center Danielle Golay's 20 points. Denise Woods had 14 points and seven rebounds.
The Women of Troy shot 29.4 percent in the second half and were 14-for-24 overall from the foul line.
