Women Of Troy Fall To The Farm

LOS ANGELES - Cardinal swimmers Catherine Fox and Misty Hyman each won three races to lead No. 3 Stanford to a 183 to 117 dual meet win over the No. 4 Women of Troy swimming and diving team on Saturday (Jan. 29) at USC's McDonald's Swim Stadium.
USC falls to 4-3 on the season. Stanford improves to 4-1.
The Trojans managed only three wins on the day: sophomore Kristin MacGregor won the 100 Breaststroke (1:08.95), junior Corrie Murphy won the 400 IM (4:43.74) and freshman Michala Kwasny took the 200 breaststroke. For the Cardinal, Jessica Foschi picked up two wins, while Erin Sones and Kim Powers won the one-meter and three-meter diving event, respectively.
USC's next opponent is UCLA. The two teams meet next Saturday in Westwood at noon.
