LOS ANGELES - Freshman Predrag Damjanov recorded three goals Saturday to lead the No. 2 USC Trojans to a 10-7 win over the No. 8 Pacific Tigers in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation contest at McDonald's Swim Stadium. Damjanov scored two of his goals during a streak of five unanswered goals for the Trojans after Pacific opened with a goal at 4:07 of the first period by Chris Lund.
Goalie Bozidar Damjanovic keyed the run with a huge stop in the first period on a breakway, one-on-one situation by Pacific's Chris Nowak.
USC improves to 10-2 overall and 3-1 in MPSF play while Pacific drops to 5-9 overall, 1-5 in MPSF play.
The Trojans travel to No. 7 Long Beach State tomorrow in another MPSF match at noon.
