IRVINE, Calif. - Eli Fairfield had a match-best 20 kills to lead the No. 3-ranked USC men's volleyball team to a 15-13, 15-3, 15-8 road victory over UC Irvine in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation contest on Friday (March 10).
USC improved to 15-3 overall and 11-3 in the MPSF, while UCI dropped to 6-12 and 4-10.
The Trojans had four players with 10 or more kills.
Ty Loomis had 16 kills and Steve Cavella added 11 kills for the Anteaters.
USC now takes a week off for spring break before returning to action on March 21 in a 7 p.m. non-conference match at home against Ohio State.
