For the second year in a row, NAIA power Cal Baptist upset the USC men's volleyball team, this time taking a 30-22, 30-25, 30-28 non-conference victory over the No. 7-ranked Trojans on Saturday (March 31).
The Lancers, ranked No. 1 in NAIA, moved to 14-6, while Troy dropped to 11-7.
Cal Baptist outhit the Trojans, .275 to .046, and also had more blocks, 17 to 4.
USC resumes Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play on Tuesday (April 3) with a 7 p.m. match againt Pepperdine in the USC North Gym.
