Stadler Defeated In Third Round Of U.S. Amateur

Bloomfield Township, Mich. - Former USC golfer Kevin Stadler, who won All-American honors in 2002, was defeated by John Klauk (1-up) in Thursday's third round of the U.S. Amateur held at Oakland Hills Country Club.
Senior Chris Botsford advanced to the second round, but was defeated by Brad Morris, 2 and 1.
Stadler advanced to the third round by defeating Chris Davis, 4 and 3, and Jason Powell, 3 and 2.
Chris Botsford advanced to the second round by defeating Aaron Byers, 4 and 3.
