Women's Hammer Throw
UCLA's Cari Soong set a Pac-10 Championships meet record with a throw of 65.82m (215-11). Soong is now 2nd on the All-time Pac-10 list, 7th on the Collegiate list and 9th on the all-time U.S. list.
UCLA has claimed the women's hammer title for the third time in the last four years.
Women's Long Jump
Arizona State's Tiffany Greer won the women's long jump for the third time in her four-year career with a jump of 20-10 ? (6.36m). Greer is the first woman to win three Pac-10 Long Jump Championships.
Women's High Jump
Washington State's Whitney Evans won the women's high jump for the third straight year with a jump of 5-11 ? (less misses). UCLA's Kimberly Stone finished second with a personal best 5-11 ?.
Women's 100m Hurdles
USC's Virginia Powell ran a personal best and USC freshman record 13.33 in qualifying for the finals. Powell broke the freshman record previously held by Myriam Tschomba-Fariala (13.35).
Men's 110m HH
USC's Ryan Wilson set a Katherine B. Loker Stadium record with a time of 13.60 in the preliminaries.
USC's Tonie Campbell set the previous record in 1981.
Men's Pole Vault
Washington's Brad Walker won the event for the second straight year with a jump of 18-2 ?. (5.55m).
UCLA's Yoo Kim set a personal best with a jump of 18-2 ?.
USC's Jeff Ryan recorded a personal best jump of 17 10 ?, placing him 6th in USC history in front of former USC Olympic gold medallist Bob Seagren (17-9).
Women's Javelin
USC's Inga Stasiulionyte won for the third straight year with a throw of 168-11 (51.48m). She is the first woman to do so.
Women's 100m
USC's Virginia Powell ran a personal record 11.56.
Men's 100m
Oregon's Sammy Parker from Long Beach Poly High ran a personal best 10.18 in the fastest prelim of the day.
Women's 3000m Steeplechase
Arizona State's Lisa Aguilera won her second straight championship with a time of 10:22.94.
Men's Javelin
Oregon's Adam Jenkins won the javelin with a throw of 217-09 (66.38m). Oregon has won the Men's Pac-10 Javelin Championship for the third straight year.
Women's 10,000m
Stanford's Alicia Craig broke the Katherine B. Loker Stadium record with a time of 33:42.29.
