USC Streaks On With 11-5 Win Over Pacific

The USC men's water polo team extended its winning streak to 13 games by finishing off its Northern California road trip with an 11-5 win over Pacific on Sunday. With the victory, the top-ranked Trojans improved their overall record to 20-1, and stand at 7-0 in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation play. Pacific is now 17-10, 2-3.
The Trojans barreled their way to a 5-1 lead in the first quarter and ballooned the advantage to an 8-2 halftime lead. By the fourth period, USC was up 9-2, and withstood a three-goal streak by the Tigers to lock away the MPSF win.
Nine different Trojans got in on the scoring against Pacific, and three USC goalies capped up and made stops in the cage in a true team stand by the Trojans. Juraj Zatovic and Pavol Valovic both finished with a pair of goals for USC.
