THIS SEASON: Shilling returns for his final season in the cage as USC[apos]s top goalie, carrying 363 career saves.
2006: Shilling racked up 187 saves in his junior season... Capped up for all but two games... Had a new career high of 12 saves against Cal on Oct. 15 and at Stanford on Nov. 4... Allowed 122 goals... Named to All-America Second Team... With 16 saves in NCAA Tournament, named to All-Tournament Second Team... Led MPSF with 4.69 goals-against average, selected to All-MPSF First Team... Named MPSF Player of the Week on Oct. 16.
2005: Shilling split time in goal with Don Ricci as a sophomore, and ended up registering 111 saves in 15 games played... Allowed 70 goals... Named Co-MVP of the NCAA Tournament after posting nine saves in the NCAA Championship game... Named MPSF Player of the Week on Nov. 8 after a 10-save performance in an overtime win against Stanford... Had a career-high 11 saves in a 5-4 win over UC Irvine... A Marks Scholar.
2004: Shilling played in 11 games as a redshirt freshman... Recorded 65 saves... Stopped a season-high nine shots in a win over California on Oct. 4
2003: Shiling redshirted as a 2003 freshman.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Shilling was a member of the U.S. Junior National Team in 2002 and competed at the 2003 World University Games.
HIGH SCHOOL: Shilling was a three-time All-American at Bellarmine Prep in San Jose, Calif... Earned all-section and all-league honors four years... Team MVP and captain as a senior... Won Central Coast Section and West Catholic Athletic League championships all four years.
