THIS SEASON: Carter will redshirt his first season.
NATIONAL TEAMS: A member of the U.S. National Youth Team... Also competed on the cadet and development teams.
HIGH SCHOOL: An All-CIF Division III First Team selection as a senior at Damien High... A two-time league MVP and San Gabriel Valley Player of the Year... A five-time Junior Olympic All-American and a 2004 National Age Group MVP... Played club for CHAWP and LA Water Polo, taking second at JOs from 2003-2005.
PERSONAL: Carter is majoring in business... Mother is Robin O[apos]Shaughnessy... Has two sisters, Sheena and Haley, who is on the USC women[apos]s water polo team...
