Trojan Kellers Open Strong At U.S. Swimming Summer Nationals

Former USC Trojan swimmer Klete Keller won a U.S. National title in the men's 800m freestyle while younger sister and current Trojan junior Kalyn Keller took fourth in the women's 800m freestyle on the first day of the 2005 ConocoPhillips Summer National Championships on Wednesday (Aug. 3) at the William J. Woollett Aquatics Center in Irvine, Calif.
Klete Keller won his fourth career national title in 7:56.66 while Kalyn Keller was fourth in her race in 8:33.60, less than half a second from second and 2.49 seconds out of first.
