
Four Trojans Qualify For U.S. Amateur

Senior Joshua Wooding, sophomore Tom Glissmeyer, freshman Rory Hie and recently graduated Tyler Ley all qualified for the U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine National G.C., in Chaska, Minn., set to take place Aug. 21-27.
Ley qualified at Big Canyon C.C. in Newport Beach, Calif., earning medalist honors with a 141.
Glissmeyer earned his spot at the Murphy Creek G.C. in Aurora, Colo., with a 137, tying for second in his field.
Wooding pocketed his berth with a second-place finish (138) at the Redlands (Calif.) C.C., while Hie locked up his spot with a third-place at the Walnut Creek C.C. in South Lyon, Mich., with a 141.
