
Cal State Northridge Men's Volleyball Beats USC

Isaac Kneubuhl and Cody Loe each had 16 kills to lead No. 3 Cal State Northridge to a 28-30, 30-22, 30-22, 30-22 win over No. 8 USC in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation match at Northridge on Friday (March 7).
CSUN improved to 16-4 overall and 12-3 in the MPSF, while the Trojans fell to 9-11 and 6-8.
Kneubuhl added 10 digs and 3 aces, while Loe hit .464. Teammate Mike Gaudino added 12 kills (hitting .611) and 11 digs and Eric Vance had 11 kills, 10 digs, 3 aces and 3 blocks.
CSUN hit .363, had 42 digs and served 12 aces. USC outblocked the Matadors, 11.5 to 7.0.
For USC, Murphy Troy had 14 kills, Hunter Current had 10 kills and 8 blocks and Juan Figueroa had 10 kills.
USC next goes to No. 13 UC Santa Barbara for an MPSF match on Wednesday (March 12) at 7 p.m.
