USC Men's Volleyball Defeats UCLA In SAC Tourney

The USC men's volleyball team beat UCLA, 15-25, 25-18, 20-25, 25-18, 15-10, on the first day of the 4-team SAC Tournament on Friday (Nov. 11) at UCLA.
The Trojans next play twice on Saturday (Nov. 12), first against Cal State Northridge at 10 a.m. and then versus UC Santa Barbara at 3 p.m.
Both matches will be held at UCLA's Student Activities Center (Men's Gym). Admission is free.
In the other Friday match in the SAC Tournament, CSUN swept UCSB, 25-20, 27-25, 25-15.
On Saturday, UCLA and UCSB meet at 10 a.m. and UCLA hosts CSUN at 3 p.m.
The SAC Tournament concludes USC's 2011 fall competition.
USC, which advanced to the NCAA Final Four last season for the second time in the past 3 years, begins its 2011 regular season with a home match against Alberta on Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. in the Galen Center.
