Four Trojans -- Steven Shandrick, Murphy Troy, Tony Ciarelli and Riley McKibbin -- have been named to the 2011 MPSF All-Academic team.
Only two of the MPSF's 12 teams had more players named to the All-Academic squad than USC.
Honorees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0, be a sophomore or older with at least one year residency at the institution and must have appeared in at least 50 percent of the team's matches.
Shandrick has a 3.26 GPA as a business administration major, Troy a 3.15 GPA as a physics major, Ciarelli a 3.04 GPA as a history major and McKibbin a 3.03 GPA as a business administration major.
This is the third consecutive year that Troy made the MPSF All-Academic squad and the second straight year for Ciarelli and McKibbin.
