
Four Trojans Racing At World Rowing U23 Championships

USC All-American seniors Ivana Filipovic and Maria Wilgotsson as well as senior Iskra Angelova and sophomore Vineta Moca are a competing at The World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Amsterdam, the Netherlands July 20-24.
The four Trojan rowers are among a record 314 crews representing 63 nations in this year's event.
Filipovic (Serbia) and Angelova (Azerbaijan) are competing in the single scull event while Wilgotsson (Sweden) and Moca (Latvia) are competing in the double scull.
Filipovic and Wilgotsson earned Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association 2011 Pocock All-American first team honors last season, helping the USC women's rowing team to a fifth place finish at the NCAA Championships, the Trojans' second-best finish in school history behind their third place finish in 2007.
