Former Trojan Promoted To UCSD Head Coach

Former USC All-American Corrie Falcon (formerly Corrie Murphy) has recently been promoted to head women's swimming coach at UC San Diego.
Falcon, who gradated from USC in 2001 with a degree in communication, served as an assistant coach with the Tritons the previous four years before moving up to head coach.
She was a two-year assistant at USC in 2002 and 2003 and then coached age group teams in Australia and England. She was the head coach at San Diego Mesa Community College in 2007 before joining UCSD.
As a Trojan, she was a five-time All-American and was a two-time NCAA finalist in the 400y IM and 200y back in 2000. She was also a 2000 Olympic Trials semifinalist in the 400m IM.
