Four Trojans Named To MPSF All-Academic Team

Four Trojans--outside hitter Tony Ciarelli, middle blocker Steven Shandrick, outside hitter Steven Mochalski and opposite hitter Tanner Jansen--were named to the 2012 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic men's volleyball team.
This is the third consecutive year that Ciarelli, a senior history major with a 3.04 GPA, has been honored, while it is the second year in a row for Shandrick, a senior business accounting major with a 3.27 GPA. Mochalski, a senior business administration major with a 3.40 GPA, was honored for the first time.
Jansen, USC's only underclass honoree, also was a first-time recipient. He is a sophomore opposite hitter with a 3.06 GPA as a public policy, management and planning major.
All four Trojans helped USC advance to the 2012 NCAA championship match.
