Longtime USC Track & Field Supporter Fred Jacobs Passes

Longtime USC track & field and football supporter and founder of the Link In The Chain Program Fred Jacobs passed away today after a long battle with cancer.

Jacobs founded the Link In The Chain Program more than 20 years ago which provides intercity children in elementary school a chance to attend track meets.

USC Director of Track & Field Ron Allice said that the program will continue.
